App preview loads instantly — no more 'Building' false alarm

Your app preview now appears the moment it's ready, instead of showing 'Building your app' even after everything was already live. No more refreshing or waiting on a screen that was already done.

  • Preview pane now shows your live app as soon as it's available
  • No more stuck 'Building your app' message when your app was already running
  • Faster feedback loop when testing changes in the editor

Restore any previous app version — now works reliably

A bug was causing some older versions of your app to appear unrestorable even when they could be. You can now roll back to any past version of your app without hitting a false 'can't restore' block.

  • Previously saved versions that were incorrectly marked as unrestorable are now available again
  • Roll back to any prior snapshot of your app with confidence
  • Version history works as expected across all app types

Shared preview links now look the same for everyone

When you share a link to your scroll world, every visitor — whether they open it fresh, in incognito, or on a new device — now sees exactly the same experience you intended. No more mismatched versions depending on who clicks.

  • Shared links are now fully reproducible: the same URL shows the same thing to everyone
  • Visitors on new or private browsers no longer land on a different layout variation

Model picker no longer gets cut off by the sidebar

The AI model selector in the app editor now opens to the right and stays fully visible, so you can always see and choose the model you want without it being sliced off by the panel.

  • Model selector now opens in the correct direction and stays fully on screen
  • No more truncated or hidden options when switching AI models in the editor

Scroll world videos play correctly on desktop shared links

Desktop visitors opening a shared scroll world link will now see the smooth video experience as intended, rather than falling back to a static screenshot version on certain connections.

  • Video scroll experiences now display reliably for desktop visitors on shared links
  • Slow-connection detection no longer incorrectly overrides your video content on desktop

Restore a previous app version — reliably, every time

A bug was incorrectly blocking you from restoring older versions of your app, even when a valid saved version was available. That's now fixed — you can roll back to any previous version with confidence.

  • Version restore no longer incorrectly reports a version as 'already current'
  • Roll back to any saved point in your app's history without hitting a false block

'More from OverSkill' footer section now opens smoothly

Clicking the expandable footer section at the bottom of a scroll world page now correctly scrolls it into view, so visitors can actually see the content after it opens instead of it appearing off-screen.

  • Footer expand toggle now works reliably when visitors have scrolled to the bottom of the page
  • Newly revealed content is automatically brought into view on both desktop and mobile

Whop purchases now claimable inside your published app

Apps built with Whop integration can now handle purchase claims directly, meaning your users can complete and redeem transactions without leaving your app.

  • Whop purchase claims now work end-to-end inside your published app
  • No extra setup needed — already-deployed apps are automatically updated
  • Unlocks selling and fulfilling Whop products fully within your OverSkill app

Sidebar icons now stay sharp with any brand color

No matter which accent color you choose for your app, the icons in the side navigation are now clearly visible — no more nearly-invisible glyphs that blend into the background, especially in light mode.

  • Icons remain crisp and readable across all accent colors
  • Fixes a particularly noticeable issue in light mode where icons could almost disappear
  • Works consistently whether you prefer bold or subtle brand palettes

Nav icons stay sharp and readable in every color theme

Sidebar icons now maintain strong contrast against their background tiles no matter which accent color you've chosen — including tricky light-mode palettes where icons were nearly invisible before.

  • Icons are clearly readable across all accent colors, not just the defaults
  • Light mode users no longer see washed-out or barely-visible nav glyphs
  • Your brand colors now look great in the sidebar without any trade-offs

Let your app scroll itself — new Autoplay mode

You can now add an Autoplay button to scrolling experiences so visitors can sit back and let the content play through on its own — no swiping required. It appears automatically once a user starts scrolling, right where they expect it.

  • Visitors can tap one button and watch your scrolling story play through hands-free
  • Works great on both phone and desktop without any extra setup
  • You stay in control — choose which layouts have autoplay and which don't

Cleaner app previews — no more floating points chip

The extra points indicator that used to appear in the top-right corner of your app preview is gone. Your app's own buttons and calls-to-action now have that prime corner all to themselves.

  • Top-right corner of previewed apps is no longer cluttered by an overlapping OverSkill element
  • Your primary buttons and CTAs are no longer competing for attention with a floating chip
  • Arcade points and leaderboard access are still a tap away via the launcher pill in the bottom-left

Nav icons always stand out, no matter your accent color

Sidebar navigation icons now stay crisp and readable in every color scheme — including light mode — regardless of which accent color you've chosen for your app. No more icons that blend into the background.

  • Accent colors you pick now show clear, readable icons in both light and dark mode
  • No more nearly-invisible glyphs on pale or low-contrast sidebar tiles
  • Works automatically across all accent color choices without any extra setup

Smoother scrolling video experience across all devices

Your apps now play continuous, seamlessly flowing scroll videos on desktop — matching the smooth experience already available on mobile. No more visual jumps or blended transitions between clips.

  • Desktop apps now display the same continuous scroll video experience as mobile
  • Scroll videos flow as one uninterrupted visual journey instead of stitched segments
  • Consistent, polished look across every device your users visit from
